Notifications are sent from the Intranet when certain actions are triggered across applications.
Below is a list of the triggers for the applications listed in Admin > System > Localisation > edit notification templates
If you do not see an Intranet action listed, there is no notification triggered for it.
Please raise any notification you think would be useful to include on our Ideas portal for the team to consider for future implementation.
Notification templates
Notification templates can be viewed and edited by sysadmins in Admin > System > Localisation > Edit notification templates.

List of notifications per application
The action that will trigger the notification is shown in the template title.
e.g. 'news.news_control.edited_news.twig' is the template that will be sent when a News article has been edited.
