Embed a Google Map on a Page

Embed custom Google Map locations onto Intranet pages using the embed component.

1. Obtain embed code from Google Maps

- Search for a location and click 'share' or click 'Share' on a custom map you have already saved.

Custom maps allow you to add markers for desired locations and can be a nice visual way to give information to users.

- Click the 'embed a map' option

- Set the size of the map.

- Click 'COPY HTML' once ready.

2. Add this to an Intranet page

- In Claromentis, edit the page you want to add the map to

- Add the embed component to the page

-  In the 'code' section, paste the link you copied from Google Maps

- Click 'Submit' in the component and then resize it to your liking.

Change the width value manually to 100% to make this fit the size of the container automatically.

You can make the component any size you like, and the map will fit.

- Publish the page and check that the map appears.

- Edits to the embedded map can be applied by page editors over time.
