Category experts in Claromentis are those with the most or special knowledge within or across KB categories.
They can be selected alongside those categories to answer questions users submit (if questions is enabled) and can endorse articles to highlight them as particularly important.
Assigning category experts
Application administrators of KB can set experts per category on the admin side of the application.
Edit the category and enter the required users into the field shown below and save.

Answering questions
By default, category experts will be notified when new questions are submitted, along with any subscribed user.
Questions are listed on the front end for users to interact with, and in the 'manage questions' area for those with permissions.
It's possible to ensure only category experts can ask questions by selecting the option for this across all categories.

Endorsing articles
An 'endorse this article' button will appear to category experts when viewing an article within a category they have permissions for:

They can toggle this on/off to represent endorsement.
Users on the front end will see endorsed articles represented by the label shown below when browsing:
