We will provide an overview of available Quiz Poll & survey notifications.
Templates for each language can be viewed and edited from Admin > System > Localisation > Edit templates > Quiz Poll & Survey
Notification not sending?
Remember: The type of notification received by users, e.g. email, in-system, none, etc., will depend on their preferences as outlined here.
If a notification is not evident, check that the recipient's preferences are set to receive this as they would expect first.
quiz.added
This notification will fire when a new Quiz, Poll or Survey is made live, and the option shown below was enabled. The recipients will be those who were permitted to 'take' the content.
quiz.modified
This notification will fire when a Quiz, Poll or Survey that is already live is edited and saved if the notification option (shown above) was enabled. The recipients will be those who were permitted to 'take' the content.
(If the notification option is set to 'no', a notification will not be sent on saving)
quiz.poll_submission
This notification will fire when a response has been logged for a Poll by a user, and the option below was selected in the Poll settings.
The recipients are those with 'manage' permission to the Poll.
quiz.results
This notification will fire if an end date was set for a Poll or Survey and the option shown below was chosen. All users who could 'take' the content will be notified.
quiz.survey_submission
This notification will fire when a response has been logged for a Survey by a user, and the option below was selected in the Survey settings.
The recipients are those with 'manage' permission to the Survey.
