Allow customizing field labels displayed in People - Contact List "Other's contacts"

Would it be possible to allow customizing field labels displayed in People - Contact List "Other's contacts"?
Or maybe make possible customization of the fields displayed in People - Contact List "Other's contacts"?
Right now, the only field options in People - Contact List "Other's contacts" don't match very well department level contacts, meaning for phone numbers not assigned to one person, like for Department main (HR, Helpdesk, etc.), rotating after hours/emergency and conference room numbers.
For example, "First name", "Last name" and "Job Title" aren't relevant to a department level contacts. A department main line or an after hours number for us typically don't have a main email associated with them (email is required field).
As well, the field "Contact type" has a list of values that aren't customizable. Could we have the ability to customize this list? We'd use entries like: Department Main, After Hours/OnCall, Conference Room, Other Room.
