We will provide an overview of all available notifications from the Discuss application.
Templates for each language can be viewed and edited from Admin > System > Localisation > Edit templates > Discuss
Notification not sending?
Remember: The type of notification received by users, e.g. email, in-system, none, etc will depend on their preferences as outlined here.
If a notification is not evident, check that the recipient's preferences are set to receive this as they would expect first.

discuss.discussion.updated
This notification will be sent when the option below has been enabled in an existing Topic, or if a new Topic was created with the option enabled.
The recipients will be the users/roles/groups included in the Topic with at least 'contribute' rights.
The wording sent will depend on whether the Topic is new or old.
discuss.discussion.commentadded
This notification will fire when a new post is created in a Topic.
It will be sent to those with 'admin' rights and any user subscribed to the Topic.
discuss.discussion.replyadded
If a reply is left on a comment in a Topic, this notification will be sent to the user who left the original comment and any user who is subscribed to the Topic.
discuss.note.added
If a new Note is created in a Topic, this notification will be sent to those with 'Admin' rights and any user who is subscribed to the Topic.
discuss.discussion.note.commentadded
If a comment is left on a Note in a Topic, this notification will be sent to those with 'Admin' rights and any user who is subscribed to the Topic.
discuss.event.added
If a new event is created in a Topic, this notification will be sent to those with 'Admin' rights and any user who is subscribed to the Topic.
discuss.discussion.event.commentadded
If an Event has been created in a Topic and a user leaves a comment on it, this notification will be sent to all users/roles/groups with the 'admin' permission in the Topic.
discuss.task.added
If a new task is created in a Topic, this notification will be sent to those with 'Admin' rights and any user who is subscribed to the Topic.
discuss.discussion.task.commentadded
If a comment is left on a Task in a Topic, this notification will be sent to those with 'Admin' rights and any user who is subscribed to the Topic.
discuss.task.updated
If a task is edited in the Topic, this notification will be sent to those with 'Admin' rights and any user who is subscribed to the Topic.
