Unfortunately, it is not possible to pick up every Idea and not every Idea will receive a reply.

Open new tab for links used in Events
Events
The primary goal for events is to have people enroll, but there may be a reason to supply reference links. The current editor in Events is defaulted to opening links in the SAME tab, disrupting that conversion.
Ticket: 054791 describes a few of the ideas I had including:
1) use CK editor in Events
2) impact code at the system level that would default link behavior
