Toggle Document View between details and full screen

It would be nice if a user could toggle back and forth between documents views easily.
We can program the default of a document to be either document properties view (preview window of doc with details of when it was created, by whom, description etc to the right) when a title link is clicked on, OR full screen document view.
However, once there, there is no easy way to toggle to the other view. It would be so helpful to have a button or menu item that could allow a user to switch back and forth.
