Allow Image Gallery to be viewed as a Slider

It would be nice if, after uploading several photos to an image gallery, that we could then display it as a slider on any page. There is a slider application on the back end or admin side, that we can create a new one, but the dimensions available are really not user friendly or compatible with alot of photos, and also one has to upload one photo at a time. It would be much easier or simpler to be able to add a slider widget functionality to the image gallery app. Also, the current widget the provides a link to an image gallery can't be resized on a page. It looks kind of weird.
