Make sure you also vote on ideas that you want to see in the product, as we will take this into account when deciding on what ideas to implement.

Infocapture permissions based on user metadata field values

It would be great if infocapture can use values from People metadata fields for permissions. Here is a real example:
As a team member and Intranet user I can submit a training request. This will need to be approved by my line manager and a budget holder. Both of these people are specified in my user profile as either a metadata field (budget holder) or an org chart entry. As the ticket progresses through the statuses, it should automatically be assigned to these people and only visible to them. I certainly do not want everyone in "Line Manager' role to see my request, just my line manager. Same applies to the budget holder.
As a workaround we have a number of visibility plugins which do the job, but this can quickly become quite complex, especially if there are a big number of ic projects used on a system.
