Add a "share" button to folders in Documents generating URL without "#list/" - resolve issue related to SSO authentication
Documents
We've come across a known issue with external links to folders in Documents (which include "#list/" in the URL). When users click links including a hashtag and authenticate via SSO, it can produce random results - sometimes taking the user to the correct folder and sometimes to other locations in the Documents library.
We're advised by the helpdesk that the way round this is to remove "#list/" from the folder's URL before sharing. That works fine, but manually changing the link is something people will inevitably get wrong and it could cause as many problems as it resolves.
I'm told there's also no fix for this as any fix would fundamentally break Documents.
Is it possible to add a "Share" button, that produces the correct URL to share -
E.g. the folder at the following URL: https://discover.claromentis.com/intr...list/395
The Share button in that folder to produce the following URL: https://discover.claromentis.com/intr...ents/395
We'd really welcome this as an addition. Thanks for considering it.
