provide ability to generate "Send link by email" link without using "mailto:" functionality

We use the link created by the "Send link by email" option when previewing a document as it allows for viewing a document in as large a view as possible (without the smaller size shown in a document preview window), and it lets a non-technical user generate and copy a document link easily. We regularly use this link when needing to send an email to the organization and referencing a document.
However, less than half our user base has a desktop email client (Outlook) installed that is able to handle the "mailto:" links used by the option "Send link by email".
Could you provide the ability to generate a document link that is like the link generated in "Send link by email" email, but that copies the link to the clipboard directly? maybe a "Copy link to clipboard"?
