Infocapture: To display the meta data related to a user

This was my scenario:
I am creating a performance and development review form which will be started by the manager and they select their employee.
I want to pull through the job title for the employee, as this is already in the system I don't want the submitter to have to retype it in the form.
If I use the existing variables for user, it pulls through the submitters details rather than the selected employee.
It would be good to display the meta data associated with the employee (user) variable.
